BRISTOL SYMPHONY - A NEW SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA FOR BRISTOL

BRANDING, WEBDESIGN AND BUILD
The birth of a new orchestra

As designer, I have worked with the orchestra from the outset, helping to create branding for this new Symphony Orchestra which is based in Bristol. Being able to work with this project from the outset has been exciting. Working with a team of people who have creative vision has been a joy. I created the orchestra's logo and company branding and designed and built the orchestra's website. I will continue to maintain it, as well as oversee the marketing and social media.

We commissioned Rosa Fay Photography to oversee the first photoshoot and have another   photoshoot planned with her in March. This is just the beginning for an artistic project that has exciting plans ahead for bringing new and innovative symphonic concerts to the City of Bristol.

Bristol Symphony Orchestra is an exciting and dynamic new orchestra for the City of Bristol. The orchestra's conductor is international composer of music for film and television, William Goodchild and is led by Pamela Bell. The orchestra performs Bristol Symphony concerts and special events such as fundraising concerts and corporate functions across the City of Bristol and West of England.

The orchestra plays 19th and early 20th century symphonic music. The orchestra also performs works by living composers, including new and exciting commissions. You can see the orchestra perform an exciting Concerto for Kora and Orchestra, written by William Goodchild in collaboration with Senegalese musician, Mamadou Cissokho, who lives in Bristol. Commissioned by the High Sheriff, Helen Wilde, the work will be performed at the High Sheriff's Concert at 7.30 pm on 18th June 2016 at St George’s Bristol
