I am a surface pattern and graphic designer who has been creating designs for licensing and commission since 2001. I love my work and have been fortunate enough to work with a wide range of companies including Charbonnel et Walker, The Art Fund, Warner Textile Archive and Paul Smith for Leica. Over the years, my designs have been featured in The Sunday Times Style Magazine, Homes and Antiques Magazine, Country Living Magazine, The Telegraph, and Country Homes & Interiors.
Five of my designs have been featured in The Pattern Sourcebook (A Century of Surface Design) by Drusilla Cole (Published by Laurence King Publishing). One of my designs was featured in and Creating the Vintage Look by Ellie Laycock (Published by CICO Books).
All the patterns and photographs used on my designs are by me. I use a few different mediums when creating a design. Hand-made papers are torn, coloured papers are cut-out, illustrations by hand are scanned, vintage textiles are used and eliments of the design incorporated, designs can also be derived from bits of ephemera, and lastly photography is also used.
I am also a keen photographer with a passion for design. I have been practicing yoga for the past 30 years and do not eat meat or fish. I am a confessed blogger geek with far too many ideas for my own good!
