I have just designed packaging and stationery for a company called Cherished who make headpieces. The design for the packaging originated from early twentieth century fine jewellery catalogues. These were sourced by Abby, Cherished owner and designer, from a dealer of early twentieth century ephemera. The brief for the design was to be clean and contemporary with a vintage feel. Working from sheets of old catalogue drawings, I created a gift box to be sold with the headpieces. I then also created design for tissue paper, gift tags, business cards, postcards and press pack covers.
